How can I create a list of companies that match criteria I select?

For example, could I make a list of accounting firms in St Louis, MO with more than 100 employees?

It's possible to create a customized list of companies by defining your own criteria using LexisNexis.  Here's how:

  • Click "Company Information," then click on the link for "Company Dossier - Create a Company List."
  • Next, select your criteria on the form - you can search by revenue, number of employees, SIC or NAICS (industry) code, keywords in the business description, and/or geographic location. Click "Next" to execute the search.
  • You'll see a preview of the top ten companies that match your search criteria. You can go back to edit your search, or click "Next: Customize List" to choose the specific fields you want to display in your final report, and determine how your results should be sorted.
