The Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog is your first stop when you want to see what books the Libraries have. It will help you locate books in any of the three Saint Louis University libraries (Pius XII Memorial Library, the Vincent C. Immel Law Library, and the Medical Center Library).

  • You can search the SLU Library Catalog by keyword, author, title, Library of Congress Subject Heading, call number, and much more.
  • If SLU has the book you need, write down the call number of the book, text it to your cellular phone, or scan its QR code to save it to your smart phone - android or iPhone.
  • Use the Location Guide to find the location of the book.  The Location Guide is available online and in print in Pius Library.
  • If Pius Library does not have the book you need, request it from MOBIUS, a consortium of over sixty college and university libraries and two public libraries in Missouri.

You may submit an online request for books not available at Pius Library, but found at other SLU libraries or a MOBIUS library.  The book you request will be sent to Pius Library or another MOBIUS Library for you to pick up at the Circulation Desk.  The requested book usually arrives in three business days.  Also, your SLU I.D. serves as a library card at all of the MOBIUS libraries.

The Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog is a database of descriptive records for all of the books and other media in the above named libraries. Descriptive information includes the author, title, publisher, and publication date of each item.  The MOBIUS Catalog is a database of descriptive records for books and other materials owned by all the MOBIUS libraries.
