Answer

Overdue reminder notices for books from Saint Louis University Libraries are sent by email when books are 5 and 15 days overdue. After 30 days, overdue books are assumed to be lost, and the borrowing patron will be billed a book replacement fee of at least $120, plus a non-refundable $15 processing fee.

Fines may be different if the book belongs to another MOBIUS library rather than to SLU.

Try to return your books on time in order to avoid the possibility of a fine being charged. If you have any questions about the books you have checked out or about library circulation policies, please contact Circulation Services staff at 314-977-3087 or piuscirc@slu.edu.
