For US foreign trade, use Foreign Trade Statistics from the US Census Bureau.

Passport: Global Market Information Database enables you to build a table of historical export and import activities between two nations:

  • Select "Foreign Trade" from the left-hand menu under the heading "Search Countries & Consumers."
  • Select a variable (e.g. "export by destination," "export by commodity," "import by origination," "import by commodity")
  • Select two countries and run the report to see your data displayed in a table.

World Development Indicators from the World Bank also provides import/export statistics.  Use the "Find an Indicator" search box to find your data series.
