Research librarians are generally available in Pius Library during the day Monday through Friday, and may be available at other hours by appointment. If you have a question requiring extensive assistance (e.g. help with how to search a database or how to locate sources on a topic), it's often best to make an appointment in advance by contacting the research librarian who specializes in your subject. You can also schedule an in-person or online appointment easily on our Ask Us page. If you don't have an appointment, just ask for help at either of the first floor service desks and library staff will be glad to assist you as much as possible.
