The SLU Libraries provide access to more than 400 different databases! The number and variety of databases can sometimes make it difficult to determine which one is the right one to use for your particular research project. A good place to start for many projects is SLUth - Search Plus, which simultaneously searches the library catalog and about 100 databases to find relevant books and articles.

You can also select a library database by discipline or material type on the Databases tab of the SLU Libraries website.

Also consider using our Research Guides to look for librarian-suggested resources related to a variety of subjects.

Remember that you are always welcome to ask a librarian to suggest an appropriate database. We can often save you time by pointing you in the right direction, so please don't wait until you're totally confused and frustrated to ask for assistance!
