Q. How should I cite an industry report from IBISWorld when using APA format?

IBISWorld usually identifies the individual analyst who prepared a report, and therefore when using APA format, your entry in the Reference List should resemble the following:

Berdousis, D. (2026, April). Commercial banking in the US (IBISWorld Industry Report No. 52211). IBISWorld.

In the body of your paper, you would refer to the individual author. For example, you might write that 

According to Berdousis (2026), the five years to 2025 will be drastically different from the previous five-year period for commercial banks.

or

Commercial bank industry revenue is forecast to astronomically increase at an annualized rate of 6.0% to $915.3 billion in the five years to 2025 (Berdousis, 2026).
