SLU users may have books delivered from one SLU library to another. To do this, request each book via the SLU Libraries Catalog.

From within the SLU Libraries Catalog:

  • Click the Request IconRequest button located near the top left on the full record display for the book.
  • Login to your account in the library catalog, called My Account, with your Banner ID and your library catalog password (created by you).
  • Select where you want to pick up the book and provide any special instructions. For example, if the book has 3 volumes, note which volume(s) you are requesting. Click the Submit button.
  • You will receive an email when the book is available for pick-up at your chosen library, normally within a few business days.

SLU users may also check out books from Pius XII Memorial Library, Vincent C. Immel Law Library, and the Medical Center Library in person. Users should request items from the Locust Street Library Facility via the SLU Libraries Catalog or call 314-977-5611 to make an appointment Monday through Friday to pick up a book.
