Not every database will generate a citation for you, but many do have this feature. Select a specific article or book and look for an option that says "cite" "citation options" or something similar.

Always double check citations you get from an automatic generator in a database, they have been known to make mistakes! Check out the excellent resources from the The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University for more information on citations.
