Web of Science is an excellent resource for scientific research, and you can access it by going to the Libraries' home page (, and selecting "W" on the Databases tab. You can also see a full list of biology databases by selecting Biology from the "Doing research on..." dropdown on the same tab. 

Try entering yeast and fermentation as your search terms. You can limit your search results to academic journals by selecting the Document Type in the box to the left of the results list, and then clicking Refine.

To access the full text of an article, use the "Find it @ SLU" button directly below the result. If full text is not available at SLU, you can always request the article using Interlibrary Loan.

Tip: Try using the Web of Science Categories to the left of the results list to find terms directly related to your assignment and further refine your search.
