In addition to the eBooks available through the SLU Libraries' catalog and in SLUth Search Plus, you can find eBooks online for free through the Internet Archive's Open Library. Open Library include many books not available for purchase as eBooks, and so in some cases this is the only way to access these books digitally.

To read and borrow books through Open Library, you need to create an Internet Archive username and password.

Open Library uses a one print copy = one digital copy model, which means for every print book in their collection, there is one digital book available for use. To read more about the legal framework under which Open Library operates see their white paper on Controlled Digital Lending (CDL).
