Q. What's the difference between Google Scholar and library databases?

Although there is some overlap, Google Scholar and bibliographic databases available through the library differ in content coverage, organization, search algorithm, update frequency, and more.  Google may also contain predatory journals and will not have some journals that are only indexed in databases. To learn more details, please contact your liaison librarian.
